Garden District Urban Farm is a 10,000 square foot garden that has been in production for over thirty years. The original creator of the garden recently passed away and has left it for me to continue the hard work, dedication and love of gardening. In the heart of Monroe's Garden District the garden will now provide for the neighborhood under the banner of Community Supported Agriculture. Close to two universities, interns for the garden will be welcome in our work/share program. Biodynamic and no-dig methods are the norm. Heirloom seeds and plants, gourmet lettuces, are serving members and local restaurants. Garden District Urban Farm & House is available for travelers through the area.
