Table Mountain Farms

Did you know there's a local farm right here in Golden? Table Mountain Farms is located just over on 50th avenue and uses organic growing principles to provide the freshest possible, all-natural produce to the Golden community and beyond. There's lots going on at the farm, with farm tours, nutrition classes, farm dinners, and a weekly farmstand on Thursday nights and Friday and Saturday mornings. We also offer local honey and local grass-fed beef! But that's not all that's exciting about Table Mountain Farms - we are a model for an innovative new strategy for local food that we have developed and call Agriburbia. Agriburbia is pushing the local food movement forward by designing, building, and maintaining small farms all around the Denver Metro Area so that eventually, no matter where you live, you will have fresh, local produce available. The goal of Agriburbia is to increase access to local food, create jobs, minimize the need for long-distance transportation, and protect the environment by practicing ethical and sustainable agricultural techniques such as drip irrigation, rain sensors, solar power, and crop rotation.
