Tangle Tree Ranch

We are a small family farm, located in Doyon, which is by Devils Lake, ND. It has been in our family for many generations. We raise vegetables, fruits, chevon, lamb, goats, chickens for butchering on CSA subscription, eggs for sale, grass feed beef and Norwegian Dole horses. Our operation is not certified organic, but we strive to use all organic practices. Our land have not been sprayed since 1990, nor have it seen commercial fertilizer since then. We do use devormer for our animals, but the manure is composted and aged before it is spread on our land. Our animals have freedom to roam, both in summer and in winter. New of this year is our subscription CSA for produce, butcher chickens and heritage turkeys. The turkeys will be butchered the Sunday before Thanksgiving, so our customers can enjoy french never frozen turkey. All our birds are on alfalfa grass mix pasture, they are moved daily, have shade and french water. Our water source for our ranch is rural. Our choice for produce is mostly heirloom varieties.
