Since 2011, JNelson Farms has been a leader in the production of 100% grassfed and grass-finished beef. Using regenerative and low-input methods, we produce nutritionally dense foods while simultaneously improving the land we manage. Our product line includes a wide variety of steaks, roasts, ground beef, organ meats, suet, bratwurst, hot dogs, kippered beef/jerky, summer sausage and more! Our customers enjoy convenient online ordering and on-farm pickup, as well as the selection of cash & carry items available for purchase in our small market building (self-serve daily from dawn till dusk). We also deliver monthly to Berkley MI and Birch Run MI. Pastured eggs and non-certified organic produce are available seasonally. Our hens are fed certified organic, soy-free feed. Thanks to our substantial on-farm cold storage, we are typically able to fill orders of any size within 24 hours of receiving them online.
JNelson Farms is proud to be certified with the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) as a livestock operation and as such, we are proactive in preventing or minimizing agricultural pollution risks to Michigan's land and water. We are also a verified regenerative land base through the Savory Institute's Land to Market Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV). Farms that hold the Land to Market EOV have volunteered to measure outcomes with the goal of better understanding their farm's impact on the things like soil health, sequestered carbon, water and biodiversity. Jon is available for consulting and is currently in his second term as president of the Michigan Forage Council.

The Market at JNelson Farms is open year-round seven days a week from dawn till dusk and is the hub for online order pickups, cash & carry grassfed beef, farm fresh pastured eggs and seasonal non-certified organic produce.
