My father has farming in his blood and my mother's green thumb goes all the way up to her elbow so it is no surprise that I love helping things to grow. I've been planting and picking for practice for a few years. With the help of my family I was excited to offer CSA subscriptions for a 22 week season in 2012 and again in 2013. I am offering charter members the same rates for the 2014 season. I will be using only untreated heirloom seed. I won't be using anything on the garden that would harm people (or the bees) either. Cayenne pepper spray, neem oil, Fred and Ginger (the chickens) and the shop vac are insect control. Shares that are delivered come packed in recycled pickle pails.
