Highland Road Llamas is a tiny farm with llamas, pastured chickens, and garden. Organically grown vegetables, fruits, and eggs are available on the farm (picked on-the-spot) and also at local farmers markets. The llamas are sheared every spring and the guard hairs picked out before the fiber is carded into clouds of fluffy and soft fiber, spun by hand on the farm. The homespun yarn can be customized to the desired weight and natural color mixture. Visitors can appreciate the yarn while making friends with the llama who produced it! Yarn from your favorite pets can also be spun from their fluffy undercoats, if desired. From solar panels in the pasture, the farm produces more than enough electricity for its own needs, the excess purchased by the local utility company. Located halfway between Reedsburg and Spring Green, just off Highway 23. Visitors are always welcome!
