HomePlace farm is committed to providing the freshest produce and eggs while leaving the land better than we found it. Habitat for birds, butterflies and wildlife flourishes while we improve the soil through natural fertilizers and composting. Open pollinated vegetables form the cornerstone of our operation, supplemented by wild dewberries and naturally growing Mustang grapes. Pears in season are sold fresh and as value added products while we anticiapte the figs for this season. Rabbits are available for purchase as pets or breeding stock. They produce the best naturally-pelleted fertilizer for sustainably grown produce. Freshly harvested grass and garden excess production make our rabbits lives healthy and interesting daily. Heritage breed chickens and ducks will come into egg production shortly.

Eggs coming soon! Our Indian Runner ducks and Khaki Campbells splash in their kiddie pool and chase bugs while they approach their first "lay" in September.

Silver grey Dorking chickens (breed 2000+ years old) will be producing eggs in late Oct., along with their neighbors the Americaunas, who lay green/blue eggs. Our hens are protected from the hungry wildlife in "chicken tractors," small moveable enclosures moved regularly to fresh ground, fertilizing the soil, while giving new forage.
