Kessler Family Farm is situated on 15 acres of beautiful, black, mucky soil on 92nd St. in Byron Center. We are truly a family endeavor, involving multiple generations...parents, children, grandparents, siblings, and close friends...with everyone from the largest to the smallest lending a hand and learning along the way.
We offer a summer CSA from June through October with pickups at the farm on Thursday afternoons. Each week our bins are bursting with flavorful, colorful, seasonal vegetables. We grow over 40 different kinds of vegetables (and over 100 different varieties), so you will get to enjoy lifelong favorites and also get to experience new vegetables that might just become new your favorites.
The reason we do what we do is simple; love. We love our community and want to help contribute to is wholeness and health. We love the creation and want to grow in a way that respects and enhances it. We love good food. These loves come together and have their tangible expression in the vegetables we grow, we hope you love them as much as we do!
In growing all our vegetables, we subscribe to the philosophy of less is more. So, we grow everything WITHOUT the use of any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, or any other chemicals or sprays that might compromise the quality, health, and taste of our vegetables.
