Tucumcari Farmers Market serves a rural community of ranchers, farmers and small communities over an 80 mile radius. Our high desert environment supports many products with it's long growing season. Chili peppers, a unique New Mexico offering, vary from mild to hot and may be roasted on site. Okra, squash, tomatoes, melons, cucumbers and lettuce are available in their season in heritage and naturally raised or organic varieties. Check out the locally made goat milk products, grass-fed beef and home baked goodies. Fresh eggs are a frequent offering as well.
We accept WIC and Senior Nutrition Program checks. We are open (weather permitting) Tuesdays at 5:30PM and Saturdays at 10 AM until sell out. Yearly market opening dates start in July and end in October.
We are a small, informal and friendly market- as reflects our community. And being located on I-40, we are always ready to answer a travelers question about our products and local sights to see!
