Sam and Eugenie started out together in 1980 as dairy farmers and have transitioned to a certified organic berry and vegetable and hay operation. With the help of wonderful local hired help, summer interns, and guest assistance by their three grown children, Sam and Eugenie operate a farm stand, sell to stores from Burlington to Middlebury, local schools, and attend three farmers markets. They sell all their produce to a local market.
The Last Resort Farm also offers a Farm Share (CSA) program. Farm specialties include asparagus, garlic, raspberries, blueberries, currants, and PYO strawberries. In addition, they cut and square bale 90 acres of hay for horse and dairy customers.
