House in the Woods Farm is a family-owned certified organic farm celebrating 25 years of our farm share (CSA) program. Phil and Ilene Freedman operate the farm with a mission to educate and help families experience the joy of growing what they eat. Members pick up our produce on the farm, explore the farm and witness planting to harvest progress all season long, and enjoy member-only U-Pick rows. Members are invited to help with the potato harvest or the garlic planting and more. You and your children will create memories witnessing the process as you visit the farm routinely and watch what is happening around you. Located near Adamstown, Maryland in Frederick County, MD. We also sell produce to limited wholesale clients and organic heirloom seedlings to home gardeners in April. Tours and classes are scheduled by request.

I love this CSA. Ilene and Phil and interns are super knowledgeable and friendly. We love picking up our veggies right out near the fields and hoophouses. Its a fun family day out. They do sweet potato digs and other fun activities for the kids (big kids too).
