Filbert Acres is a unique farm located in the Puyallup River valley, specializing in hazelnuts since 1947. New ownership since 2009, tore out the diseased trees and replanted, harvested our first crop in 2016. We sell hazelnuts from the farm and at Proctor Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Each year the harvest in completed in October.
We no longer grow CSA shares or pork. For pork, try our friends at http://www.naff-farm.com/ where we will be ordering our pork this year! For vegetable shares try Early Bird or Wild Hare.
We hope to be offering heritage chicks, eggs, and chicken in the future. Stay tuned.
We are right off Pioneer Way, one mile west of Puyallup. Stop by Saturdays 8:00 to 2:00, year 'round. Come watch us grow and enjoy a retreat to the country, with salmon creeks, eagles, and views of Mt. Rainier and neighboring farms.

My husband and I went to Filbert Acres about 10 days ago. We purchased salad greens (Brassica) and a pork roast. Both were EXCELLENT! We found the owners to be very friendly and informative. Will be back regularly - we only live 10 minutes away - lucky us!!
