Due to the high cost of farming, we changed the way we market our farm products. Today we sell our produce and feeder cattle direct from the farm. We have a very nice produce market some call a farm stand set-up at the farm so people can come and shop and enjoy our way of life. We call our market the farm market, we try at all times to have at least 60 percent of our own farm fresh produce in the market with our own jams, jellies, pickles & honey. We also sell farm fresh brown eggs. Lots of people come just to enjoy the and what is groaning as well as setting around the fire. Coming soon we well have our on cut of beef in Our farm market. The hours of the market are Thrusday & Friday 8AM - 4PM and Saturday -8AM - 4PM. With todays future beef prices in the supermarkets we started last year promoting our grain fed Angus Beef free from growth hormones. In 2002 we started improving our genetics in our cattle heard for the purpose of: 1} Growth so we can cut down on days to slaughter to improve on feed conversion. 2} Muscle to improve on meat quality to enhance the size of the loin, ribeye and rump area. 3} Maternal genetics of our heifers to improve on milk production to enhance the growth of their calves as well as easier birthing. By following all of the above this enables us to be a growth hormone free heard. We did all this by starting with the right bulls to improve on our heifer heard and then only saving the best and weeding out the worst. All or our feeder cattle are Angus or Angus base for meet quality. We believe it is worth your drive to the farm
