Local Roots is a diversified vegetable farm located in the Snoqualmie River valley. We grow a wide variety of crops, from kale and broccoli to heirloom tomatoes and lettuces. We sell our produce at our on-farm, honor-system stand, and offer a seasonal Community Supported Agriculture program. As farmers, one of our primary concerns is to grow food in a way that we feel good about. Our farm is free from any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides herbicides, or fungicides. We build our soil's health by cover-cropping and with organic amendment like lime, composted animal waste, and kelp meal. We grow all our crops from seed, so we know how our produce was grown from start to finish. We believe that a safe and healthy food system is one that is transparent, so consumers can see for themselves how their food was grown, harvested, and brought to market. We work hard to grow delicious, healthful food in a way that is sustainable for us, for you, and for the environment.
