Friends Farm (an outreach of Friends Ministry) We are located just outside of Lake City, MI on M-66 (S. Morey Rd.) Friends Farm is a little unique, in what we offer. Our community garden provides locally grown vegetables, berries, barter/labor, volunteer opportunities, relationship building and gardening skills through God's love for our community. We are offering "Friends Farm Bucks", buy a booklet of Friends Farm Bucks for $20. Each booklet contains 10- $2.00 coupons that you may use to buy vegetables and berries at our 24 hour road stand at Friends Ministry or in our Thrift Store cooler, as they become ready. We are offering a deal for our customers, buy 4- $20.00 booklets we will give you the 5th one FREE! Cash, checks, WIC and Senior Fresh coupons and credit card payments (at our Lake City Thrift store), are also accepted. Fresh produce with a cause, the advantage is that you choose what produce you want when you need it and it helps us with needed funds to help with costs in the garden. We offer to the community, garden plots for those who want to grow their own. Spots are limited, please call for availability. We offer a Barter/Labor program for individuals who need help with a bill, in exchange for their labor in the community garden. This program is available to Wexford and Missaukee County.
