Mission of Mary is an urban production farm as well as a community resource and education center. We are located on the east side of Dayton, Ohio and currently manage 4 city lots totaling about 3 acres. Since 2010 we have operated a modified CSA program that sells below market price to food insecure families and at market price for others. Half our customers qualify for the reduced price. We grow chemically free and almost exclusively in raised beds formed with compost we create. We culture a large worm population to add nutrition to our gardens. Since 2013 we have operated a farm stand that sells our produce direct to customers in our neighborhood two days per week. We have seasonally internship positions available and are always seeking more customers and volunteers to come aide us with our mission of making food access available to everyone in Dayton.

My first pick up was this Wednesday. I am so impressed with the quality of the vegetables. I sauteed the Kale the first night and it was wonderful. All the salad greens were beautiful and everything so fresh and a great variety. I look forward to the rest of the summer.
