Floyd Farmers Market runs from early May through Thanksgiving at the Community Market Pavilion in downtown Floyd. There are two weekly markets: Saturday mornings from 9 am until 1:00pm and Thursday evenings 4:00pm to 8:00pm. All producers are from Floyd or adjacent counties and offerings include a great line-up of seasonal vegetables and fruits, locally-raised meat and eggs, cut flowers, artisan bread made with organic ingredients and artisan cheese and dairy from our local farmstead creamery. The market is located in the heart of downtown Floyd right across from the Floyd Country Store. The Community Market Pavilion is a timber-frame structure build with sustainably-harvested wood and built by SustainFloyd, through local donations and craftsmen. An indoor market runs for 8 weeks after Thanksgiving. Details can be found on the Floyd Farmers Market website https://floydfarmersmarket.org OUR MISSION: To create a vibrant, regionally unique market and gathering place where the public connects with local farmers, artisans and other producers thereby fostering community support of sustainable agriculture and the local rural economy.
