Twin Springs Farm is a 76 acre farm located in Nelson County Vrigina. We use ecological farming practices, and support sustainable agriculture methods and do not use harmful herbicides or pecticides. Our growing method includes the use of cover crops, compost, Alfalfa meal, Kelp and foliar feeding with fish emultion and sea minerals. We grow produce and berries and market on farm, farm markets, commercial accounts and the Food Hub in Charlottesville, VA. We have salad greens, Kale, Beets, and Carrots available off season utilizing unheated high tunnels during the fall and winter months.
We currently attend the Nelson Farmers Market. We are members of Virginia Association for Biological Farming (VABF) and Southern Sustainable Agricultural Working Group (SSAWG).
