First Light Farm & Learning Center

Family Farm
First Light Farm & Learning Center, began in 2011 and has been been providing a place for families and friends to participate in a farm community through our different programs:
1. a summer/early fall upick program -- we offer an awesome weekend upick experience for everyone from greens to tomatoes, cucumbers to squashes.
2. our mini farm and cultural gardens program -- we offer land you can lease to grow your own food for your family, or with our cultural gardens program, participate in the educational life of the farm by sharing knowledge of your cultural foods with customers.
3. our CSA -- not everyone can come to the farm so our CSA program is designed for busy individuals and families who want to be part of the farm community, support local farming, and want their veggies (and other items such as eggs, honey, flowers, herbs, mushrooms) delivered to them.
4. our educational programs -- throughout the summer, we offer hands-on learning experiences for families and individuals as well as for groups. Learn things like how to make pickles, your own salsa, tomato canning, basket weaving, and more.
Our overall goal at First Light Farm is to help everyone return to the soil by providing a safe, inclusive farming community where all are welcomed.
