Muddy Miss Farms is dedicated to diversified, small-scale, sustainable agriculture. We adhere to growing practices that focus on the health of plants, animals and the land while providing our community with high-quality, fresh and nutritious food. We strive to work in community with other farmers, producers, retailers, food activists and consumers to build a vibrant local food system where sustainable farms thrive and everybody has access to the highest-quality, most nutritionally-sound, and ethically-raised food available.
We tend to our fields ten miles south of Iowa City, near the town of Hills, IA. Our delicious organic produce can be enjoyed at such fine restaurants as Devotay, Share, Leaf Kitchen, Clinton Street Social Club, and the Bluebird Diner. Produce can also be purchased at New Pioneer Food Coop and Iowa City area Hy-Vee grocery stores. We have a stall at the downtown Iowa City Farmer¢ï¿½??s Market on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in stall 106, and operate a CSA with pickups on the farm and in Iowa City.
When we are not picking, planting, weeding or washing, you are likely to find us taking a dip in one of our favorite swimming holes or walking the woods of eastern Iowa.
