The Carrousel District Farmer's Market is open from 9am until 2pm every Friday from the last Friday in May until the first Friday in October. The Carrousel District Farmer's Market gives growers and producers of agricultural commodities alternative marketing opportunities and promotes the sale of locally grown produce. The Market also provides an opportunity for farmers and people from urban communities to deal directly with each other, allowing consumers to better understand the benefits of purchasing quality, locally grown or prepared food products.
