Stephens Farm

Stephens Farm is a small family farm in Northwest New Jersey. Started in 1972, the farm is still owned and operated by the Stephens Family. At present 3 generations of the Stephens Family live on and operate the farm. Stephens Farm has always used organic practices, and became Certified Organic in 1992. At Stephens Farm we are committed to providing the highest quality produce and farm products to our customers, all grown and raised using Certified Organic practices. Stephens Farm's founder, Ted, has always raised his crops and livestock with the well being of future generations in mind. This ethic has been passed on to his children, who will be taking the reins for the upcoming growing season. We raise a wide variety of products that we sell through a CSA, on-farm retail and wholesale outlets. The focus of our farm for the 2014 growing season will be produce, CSA shares, and hay. In addition to produce we also raise and sell Certified Organic beef, Certified Organic eggs, and naturally raised pork. Our livestock is truly pasture raised, only coming indoors during bad weather. We feed grain only when it is necessary to maintain optimal health of the animals. Stephens Farm is also planning to reestablish its dairy operation in the coming year.
