Our family, four generations, has been farming in Volo for more than a century, and we are proud to carry on this tradition! We are transitioning our 17-acre farm to natural growing practices and, to date, have nearly five acres in sustainable production.
They say of perennials, "The first year they sleep; the second year they creep; and the third year they leap." In 2010, with the opening of our on-farm market, our roots grew deeper and stronger. In 2012, our (sold out) CSA shareholders enjoyed our freshly harvested, nutritious and seasonal produce. In 2013, we are excited that we are bringing another 2 acres into sustainable production and will be offering additional shares for like-minded people to join in, enjoy the produce and indulge their passion for supporting a local, sustainable farm.
Our mission is to be good stewards of the land, grow healthy food for our bodies and souls and share our passion for growing. As we grow, we hope to provide valuable educational opportunities and on-farm learning for our customers and the community.
