Mission of Mary Cooperative

Mission of Mary is a nonprofit urban farm as well as a community resource and education center located on the east side of Dayton, Ohio. We transform underused, previously vacant lots in our neighborhood into productive gardens and community spaces. Currently we manage 5 city lots with just under an acre in production. We grow a wide variety of produce, herbs, edible flowers and seasonal bouquets on underused urban lots using sustainable, chemical free methods and inputs.
We distribute produce through our CSA, community partners, and online marketplace. To support food access efforts in our community since CSA has a two tiered pricing model. The purchase price of each CSA box includes a small donation which allows us to offer a lower cost subsidized membership program. This program allows for our low income or food insecure neighbors to have affordable access to the same high quality produce for their families.
We have seasonally internship positions available and are always seeking more customers and volunteers to come aide us with our mission of making food access available to everyone in Dayton.
