We produce UNcertified but sustainably-minded vegetables, raise honeybees in the most natural method we can manage, and raise a small number of chickens for meat. Our farm is built out of a passion for local food, sustainability, and good hard work. We grow food because we love food, and want to provide a clean, healthy source of delicious food to our community.
We cultivate just over an acre using intensive planting methods. Our garden is not designed for tractor work, so most of our work is done with a basic tools and our focus is on building and maintaining our soils. We sell at the Farmers Market at Sandpoint, through SixRiversMarket.com, and to a local restaurants and stores.

We are currently seeking motivated, hard-working apprentices for the 2015 season. Interns work 4 full days a week and receive private and comfortable (but primitive) housing, meals on workdays, veggies for personal use, and a small stipend. We can help you find other work in the area if you like. We prefer candidates who are available for the majority of our May-October season. Serious parties please contact Emily via email. Please visit our website for more info.
