Sand Hill Farm

We are a small family farm living on 3 acres of sandy loam ridge in the coastal plain of Georgia. We have another 150 acres of family owned land that is currently in pine trees, pecans, with about 80 acres rented out for commercial farming. We mainly grow vegetables, chickens, pigs, cows, and rabbits to feed our own family and sell some of the surplus to friends, neighbors, and at our local farmer's market. We try to focus on growing heirloom and heritage varieties, but still find some of the hybrid (not GMO) varieties work well for us as well. We have recently began adding fruits, berries, nuts, and grapes to our little piece of land and hopefully we will be able to share in the bounty of these as well.
