Downtown Farmers Market

I am a huge supporter of the Downtown Farmers Market in Salt Lake City for many reasons. First of all, it is very well organized and well run, which makes a huge difference for the consumers. Not only can I get a variety of great fresh produce, it's a really fun atmosphere that brings people together as a community. I think that is more important now than ever. I also love to buy from our local growers as opposed to buying produce from Mexico and other far-off locations, which of course adds to greenhouse gases, etc. There is also a bike valet so you can ride your bike there and they will watch it for free! How cool is that?!
