There's a great variety of local, organic food, from honey to garlic, to beef, to bread. I love connecting with the farmers and getting fresh, raw, whole food (which tastes sooo much better than supermarket fare). It's nice to have such a large market so close.

I am a locavore who refuses to pay the "diesel tax" if it can be avoided. I also believe that farmers markets are vital to food security.

There is always fresh locally grown produce. You can get things here that just taste better than anything you buy in the store. It is also nice to have a market like this in our downtown area.
