Becuase there is a local non profit organic farmers cooperative that sells fresh local produce there. I can feel good about buying organic food at good prices for my friends and family. This place rocks!

You forgot to add about how they harrass standholders about Every little nuiance of their business. Plus the market is run by a trust who knows nothing about the way real farms function, most of whom have never visited a farm. Plus the market master is a complete tool, who wanders around all day
