Farmer Brown Beef

I purchased a half-beef from Paul (Farmer Brown). He was great to work with and the whole process worked well. I just sent a deposit in the mail and he contacted me when the meat had been taken to the processor. I contacted the processor and let him know how to cut it. Don't pay extra for the vacuum packing because he does a very thorough plastic wrap under the paper. He marks each package so you know what is in the package. I simply gave the processor in Clinton MO, "Remer Meats" two checks - one for Paul and one for the processing (about $150 for processing the half). The meat is excellent tasting and surprisingly tender. I would have expected grass fed to be tougher meat than normal grain finished beef but it hasn't turned out that way. I highly recommend Farmer Brown Beef. I think you'll be as pleased as we have been.
