I lived in Henry county for years and always purchased milk, eggs, butter, etc from Kevin and his family. Truly a wonderful family. I moved away to Pike county and have not had the opportunity to go, and I miss it so much. Planning a day trip soon. But will call and make sure they reserve some milk because they do run out. Hoping soon!

Milk was heavenly, made sausage gravy to top my biscuits-where the sausage was as Devine as my biscuits! Ground beef was a grand improvement to my Mexican cornbread. I made lemon pound cakes with the eggs. What a winning combination!! Thank you for sharing the fruits of your labor. I would be happy to try your butter. Do you keep bees yourself or is the honey a partner-I am impresssed with the honey. Nothing but raves from me on everything! Your chickens were huddled together when I arrived-looked like carpeting. Made me smile.

The products, the atmosphere, and the farm itself are all wonderful. You pull up and can see all the animals that the products come from, and how well they are taken care of. I love supporting local businesses, but a Christian local business 1000% has my business!

I moved to the area in the summer of 2021 and started buying eggs and raw milk which I love. I never get an upset stomach and actually started drinking more milk since I began feeling better overall. We?re getting about 4 gallons a week and looking to purchase more of the products that we have yet to try!

First time there, and we absolutely love it. My children were playing with mama dog and her baby (Let?s not forget a kid ( baby goat)), they were very, friendly and sweet pups. Almost forgot to mention . I rang the bell which brought me lots of memories. Definitely I will return to buy their products ( milk, chicken egg and duck egg). Really, a stop to this farm, was felt like home ( and I will ring the bell again eventhough I?m not the first time customer or need an assistance). This farm brings my precious memories back)..?? I will recommend this farm to everyone especially to my parent and sisters. *love, love, love*

My husband grew up drinking raw milk back in his country so when I found this farm selling raw milk he was happy and when i tried it the first time i fell in love even my kids. Best believe I'am never going to buy grocery store milk! I also love the inspirational quotes of God they have on this farm. It literally feels peaceful to me. I love the idea to support local!

We love the eggs we get from this farm. My baking addiction produces better products! The meat is wonderful, it taste better than store meat. Of course it is always great to meet the people who raise your food, truly good people.

Yesterday I visited The Good Shepard Family Farm with my friend Laura. This was her first time but I have been shopping there for years. We went into the "store" and was amazed by all the different fresh products available. As I was paying for my honey Laura found the cabinet with beautiful smelling soap and all natural chap stick. She plans on coming back soon to buy some for herself and gifts for family. We walked around front to see where the food comes from. Happy chickens, cows, ducks, sheep, goats and pigs. Spring has sprung so many babies with mommy's everywhere! Too adorable. This family is a true blessing to me and my family. Will recommend this food and farm to all. Thank you!

Today I went to pick up some milk for my family and a dog on the farm came after my small innocent daughter and I. This place has some good milk, but it is not a safe place to bring your children. My daughter and I did not even interact with the dog nor provoke the dog in any form or fashion. I thought that this place was an answer for me and my family for real cow's milk, but I will simply find another farm to go to. I also feel bad because I advised several of my prayer partners in ministry to solicit this farm, but I will have to encourage them otherwise.

We bought Cream, butter, eggs and 2 ribeye steaks and 2 T-bone steaks.. Cream, butter and eggs were all great. The steak on the other hand were pretty bad. We had company over today and grilled all 4, they were so tough, none of us could eat them. We have bought better steaks at Kroger or Publix for a lot less. $50 for 4 small super tough steaks.. May go back just to buy cream, butter and eggs but never steak again?.

I have passed by this location daily for over a year now and never would have thought there would be such an amazing selection of locally raised food! I am pregnant and severely anemic and have been in search of liver for weeks now in our area. As I was purchasing vitamins at a local shop it was suggested to me to look up the good shepards! And so we did! At first it was a little difficult to find someone to help but eventually we figured out the ways of the farm. When in doubt ring the big cast iron bell, if no one answers the phone. Everything was so clean and well organized! While we were there we also grabbed ground beef and eggs. Exited to try everything and excited for the raw milk upon baby's arrival!

We never met a place like this before that there not employes or someone else. I already drank of the milk and is excelent, what a great and unique flavor!....Hope that the next time we can find bread and honey that other people here said. We have bought milk from a number of farms in 4 different states over the past few years, and Good Shepherd Family Farm is by far my favorite place to have brought my business to. The milk and eggs are of exceptional quality and the family truly desires to glorify the Lord in all they do.

I have been purchasing milk and other products from Kevin and his family for over two years. They consistently provide top quality products and their milk is second to none, keeping fresh in my fridge for three weeks (be sure to occasionally shake the cream up). Kevin is a hardworking man and his family exemplifies the characteristics that are so lacking in society today. I cannot recommend them enough. Their prices are fair and their products from milk to bread, to eggs, to pastured chicken are the highest quality possible.

I simply cannot bring to words the happiness I acquired from meeting Mr. Campbell and his family.
Our meeting was quite brief unfortunately, maybe lasting 2 minutes, because I was in a rush and Mr. Campbell was very busy (despite this, he still took the time to introduce me to the family/farm)
However, I am thoroughly satisfied with his product, and am glad to have met his family even more so!
Candidly, What they stand for, their old world virtues, and the opportunity to meet "real-people" is priceless.
On a separate note, Mr. Campbell's family is very fair on their prices. I would be more than glad to pay more for his products should he ask.
This is the extent of my confidence and recommendation.

I can't say enough about the quality of the food that Kevin and his family produce. Everything is incredibly fresh, nutritious, and fairly priced.
I make the hundred mile roundtrip from my home every two weeks just to get it. It is that great.
Keep up the great work!!

So today was the second time I have visited the Good Shepherd Family Farm and this time I brought my wife with me. This family is something special for sure. Very inviting and loving towards all. A friend of mine and I were able to help Kevin out with the chickens one afternoon and man was it a fun and knowledge filled experience. I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to be a part of this community Kevin and his family have created. Too much to say about this place for this type of forum.

My family recently had the pleasure of going to the Good Shepherd Family Farm and meeting Kevin and his family.
WOW!! I can't say enough about this farm and the family.
From the 1st day we met Kevin he has been incredibly nice, inviting and sharing. Yesterday I took a friend to his farm with her son. My 2 girls, her son and Kevin's girls ran off to see the chickens and then even played on their playground. His wife also came out and was just as sweet and inviting as Kevin. What a great salt-of-the-earth family. Definitely a family we would like to become great friends with.
Now...moving on to the reason we went there to begin with: the milk and eggs. INCREDIBLE! We now ONLY buy our milk and eggs from this farm. We also loved the honey, okra and lemons.
I seriously cannot say enough great things about the products on the farm, as well as the family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We just got back from our visit with Kevin Campbell and his family at The Good Shepherd Family Farm. We were introduced to the chickens by two of the Campbell's little girls, who warmly greeted our four-year-old daughter. The three of them had a great time together with the chickens. Aged three and five, the girls were very knowledgeable about their chickens and how their dad looks after them. The size and speed of those girls have made them expert chicken catchers, and they made short work of training our little girl on hen holding. After we saw the bee hives and were told of future plans for the family and the farm, the Campbell girls went in for breakfast, and then off on their morning errands with Mom and their adorable younger sister. After they left Kevin took us out to meet the cows. He took our daughter's hand and led her up to the sweetest of the cows. She got to pet her and even got big sloppy kisses from the other friendly ones in the group. We got a gallon of milk, and a bottle of honey and I'm looking up an ice cream recipe as soon as I finish writing this. We can't wait to go back.

Kevin is really on to something special.
First, the milk and eggs are wonderful. Good flavor, fairly priced, and great for you.
Second, understanding the importance of the dirt quality and how to achieve that quality is a necessary foundation. Good grass comes from good soil. Kevin gets it...really gets it.
Third, Kevin comes across as a real "salt of the earth" kind of man. He has a real appreciation for God, family, nature, farming, and food. I look forward to getting to know him and his family better.
Fourth, the farm was beautiful. The chickens wander around pecking, the cows are in the pasture grazing, there's a nice garden growing, and a sense of peace all around. It's a excellent place to visit. I can't wait to take my young ones out there.
I most certainly will continue to buy Good Shepherd Family Farm's milk and eggs. Keep up the good work, Kevin!

The farm fresh eggs have yolks the color of light orange marigolds, and the chickens are real friendly around children.
My pets love this milk, and ask for more. They've really enjoyed the yogurt I've made with the "non-fat milk." The cream that was skimmed to make the yogurt was excellent over the fresh blueberries we picked and made a great batch of cream of mushroom soup.
Kevin and Jen are two of the most caring people you'll ever meet. They took over an hour of their time to show my children and myself around their operations. They tend to run out of milk right after the morning and afternoon milking, so get there early.
It is so nice to have something like this so close to home. We can't wait for the honey to pour over the yogurt.....
Thank you!!!

I saw a dog too when I went yesterday but he/she was busy doing dog things. I?m sorry you were scared. It?s a sad thing to miss out on something many people have no way of getting. I bought milk sausage honey and eggs and in a day converted my family.
