Jan and her crew are a God-sent Necessity for our family! Great sense of community and dedication, freshest produce and the BEST meats ever. I grew up in rural post-war Europe where everything was local and organic, but rationed. Coming to this land of plenty stunned me - people had everything to chose from. But nearly all the food was chemically farmed and all the meat tasted corn-raised. Over the decades wholefood stores and coops returned vitality to my diet but soon the prices rose and the quality was uncertain. The meats even started to taste bland again! The illusion of perfect, packaged service is ubiquitous and misleading and is obviously a disease of the mind. Who or what is perfect in this world? I support CSA's because we the people need to see what's coming down the road and get on the right side of the fence when it comes to our future food options. So I stand by Jan & Brock and I'll support them by buying all our food from Fields to Forks. God Bless!

This fall I will have been a member for 2 years. I have been eating nearly exclusively from the farm (occasionally we eat out or at a friend's home) since Oct 2014. I had been diagnosed with some serious health issues that required my eating change dramatically. The doc had put me on a sugar and grain-free diet and encouraged me to eat tremendous amounts of veggies and lean meat. He had said that eating local, organic would be helpful if I could do it. So the FFTF became our main food source. I eat bacon and eggs most mornings and meat at most meals and loads of vegetables - all of this from the farm. In 3 months I lost 60 lbs, was able to stop my 2 thyroid meds although I do have to still take iodine, I no longer need to use a CPAP machine, my hair and skin look so healthy and I now feel my health has been returned to me. I know it was because we are buying quality food. I love all the folks at the farm and I feel they give 100% and will do what they can to correct any issues.

In reference to the previous review. The farm is a business. When my wife ordered a plain cheesecake and received one with almonds, this was the final straw with us. She contacted Jan right away. It was the 4th of July weekend and Jan was on vacation. At 16.50 per cheesecake I would think they could get it right. My wife ordered Saturday, 3 days prior to the deadline. She was told by Jan to call Brock and make arrangements or to freeze the cake and return it the next week. Jan should have called Brock and made arrangements! It is her business. Almonds may not seem like much to you but one of the kids is allergic to almonds and we ordered a plain one for the holiday.Jan did not offer to comp us the 16.50 for her mistake or to arrange a convenient exchange. This is not one mistake but many. My wife was asked in not so many ways to leave the farm, however no offer of a return of the membership fee. I don't feel you should have to pay someone to buy their food. Good customer service ?

I have been a member for about a year and a half, and have nothing but great things to say about Florida Fields to Forks. In my experience, they go above and beyond to make things right if ever the need for it. Their customer service is impeccable, but knowing where your food comes from, and that you are safe eating it is worth far more than anything else! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Jan and the team at Florida Fields to Forks rock! We moved to this area just a year ago and have been delighted with the outstanding quality of the meats, chicken, seafood, produce and so many other products we have purchased with our weekly order. I have been purchasing grassfed beef going on seven years now, and the ground beef from Florida Fields to Forks is by and large the best I have ever tasted. Their commitment to quality and dedication to clean food is just what our family wants from our local farmer.

I have been buying from Florida Fields to Forks now for 2 years and I am so thankful to them for the great healthy food they have. I was upset when I moved here that I couldn't shop at a store like Whole Foods and because of them I am fine. In fact, they have better meat than Whole Foods! I also love that I can buy raw dairy from them becasue I wont eat any other dairy. The other thing that is so nice is how much they care and how nice they are. It amazes me that as they grow, their customer service does not falter at all. They are great people and that makes buying from them even nicer. Thanks so much Jan and Brock!!

I have been going to Forida Fields to Forks for a couple years now. I came across it after moving from an area with a Whole Foods and was looking for grass fed beef. Well I found so much more here- and the grass fed beef is a better price and better quality than I could ever imagine!! I could do all my shopping here if I wanted to between the produce, dairy, meat, and even local stone ground grits and brown rice! I travel an hour each way to come to this farm each month to get what I need and it is so worth it. I love that I'm supporting local farmers and getting real whole fresh foods. EVERYTHING is delicious and fresh. And I love the farm family. They are very accomadating as well to several of my requests! Thank you Jan and Brock!

I have been a member of Florida Field to Forks for over a year. In the beginning it was great ! I picked up my items at the farm. Short lines and great food items! At the beginning of 2015 they started to grow. Then the problems began. The meat shares had odd cuts of meat. My orders I discovered totals were rounded off,and I was not charged the exact penny. I don't know how many of these I paid for before I discovered the error. With over 3000 members that adds up. When large cuts of meat were offered you weren't able to get them unless you were on the net when the offer first goes out.I had ordered and paid for a specific roast and it was sold to someone else? I would order items and my order was not completely filled or it had items that were incorrect. I stopped paying ahead because I never knew if my order was going to be correct. I would order 2 doz eggs and only get one. I can purchase alot of the items at the farmers market at Wickham Park. 3.00 per delivery @13 boxes = 39.00

I made a mistake on the membership number . It is only around 1500. I stand corrected. Yes, finally, on my final order I was able to receive 2 large cuts of meat. I am no longer a member Growing pains as Jan call them have gotten to be careless mistakes, which the customer receives no compensation for. I have owned my own business and I have always made it right with the customer. Jan does not believe in this. Upon leaving the farm I did not receive my membership fee of 35.00 back. Moving on there are alternatives to the farm. The Farmers Market in Wickham Park and Heart of Christmas delivers locally.

Hi Ricci, we are sad that you would write a post like this, being a long time member of our farm, and still purchasing from us on a weekly basis. Just to clarify for others who are wanting to know about our farm. We do not have even close to 3000 members and we are not sure where you came up with that number. We have under 1500 members of our farm. We are asking you to please explain to us the cuts you received in your beef share that you did not like. We also would like to explain that, as you know, our larger beef cuts are sold on a first come first serve basis, and they go very quickly. Our other farm members got their orders in before you did, so you were unable to get the cuts you wanted. We don't know how to be any more fair for anyone. We did notice that this past week, you got your larger beef cut order in FIRST, and received everything you wanted. We accept the fact that on occasion we forget something when we are doing our off farm deliveries, I wish I could say we are perfect packers all the time, but we aren't. We apologize for omitting the clove of garlic from your produce share, but we made a note on your next order and added the single garlic clove to that order for you. While we respect that everyone has the right to free speech and to share their opinion. It is only fair to everyone that all the facts are shared. Thank you for your continued support of our farm and we will try harder to please you. God Bless, Jan

My family has tried delivery services in the past, and the produce never lasts. The quality and variety of produce we receive from FFtF is excellent! It is always so fresh and lasts throughout the week and often longer. Jan and Brock have very strict standards, so I know we're getting the best organic, locally produced fruits and vegetables available. My family is vegan, so I cannot speak to the quality of the animal products at FFtF. I can only say again that I admire their standards and that you're in good hands with Jan and Brock!

We joined Florida Fields to Forks about 7 months ago and have been getting the great produce share weekly. The variety is nicely balanced/varied and is perfect for the two of us for the week. We are also super happy with the beef and pork shares, the walnuts, and the honey! There is no doubt that we are eating much healthier, and the value exceeds local supermarket prices for organic veggies. Recently tried the eggs and we will now be repeat customers as well for them - so fresh and no gastric problems compared to store-bought. Just can't say enough about how attentive Jan and Brock are to their business of making good food available at a reasonable price. We enjoy our weekly trip to the farm :)

Jan and Brock deliver every week! I love the fresh and local produce in the produce share and the pork/beef/chicken is so much better than what you can get in the grocery store. My wife is really looking forward to the new fruit share that Jan is working on putting together.

I started getting produce and milk from Florida Fields to Forks in early December and have been truly amazed at the taste and quality of all of the produce, meats, cheese, fish. My husband is also very impressed with the flavorful meats and really enjoys cooking with them.

When you go to the farm to pick up your order, you are treated like family. Jan and Brock do all the hard work to make sure you are getting truly the best.

The health benefits of the organic produce and grass-fed beef and pasture raised pork, lamb and chicken are so important in today's world. This is the best change we have made in our lives in a long time.

Thanks Jan and Brock!

My family and I joined with the farm back in December. I have been searching for a place to get my family high quality organic produce and meats. Well I have found it. Not only is the staff friendly, food is wonderful but I get to take my kids to a farm every Thursday and see the animals while we are there! They look forward to it every week. We are also enjoying raw milk here and I must say, its amazing! I am so grateful for all their hard work so that we can have this service. Thanks FFTF!!!

I joined Florida Field to Forks in April, after watching a horrific video of how our meat is processed and treated in the United States. I believe that what we put into our bodies affects who we are and I didn't want to be a part of the system that treats animals so uncaringly. Finding Florida Field to Forks was a godsend. The meats are always delicious though it does take a little time to get used to the difference. Farm raised meat tends to be more fatty, which makes it much more flavorful and also tends to cook quicker. My son and I both find that it fills us up faster as well. So far I've had the beef share and the pork share, a chicken share and the honey, fish, and lots of vegetables and I haven't been disappointed in anything. If you are used to store bought meat, give yourself a little time to ajdust to the difference in textures and flavors and you will no longer want to go back to store bought. I've been feeling healthier than ever and Jan and Brock are really wonderful people to work with. My schedule doesn't match up with the assigned pick up dates but they are always able to arrange a time to meet me so that I can get my share.

I have been ordering from Jan and Brock for about 6 months. The meat shares are fantastic! Grocery store meat will never taste the same again. They are now working to provide fresh fruit and vegetables as well.

We found FL Fields to Forks this past Spring and thought we'd try it out for a healthier lifestyle and to know where our food was coming from and we could not be happier with our local family run farm. The Florida raised Beef, Berkshire Pork and Katahdin Lamb is amazing and you can really tell a difference. We are also excited to now be able to get raw milk which is delicious and more nutrious than anything you can get at a store. They also carry farm fresh organic produce and even have extras sometimes like homemade salsa, breads and lard. Our family highly reccommends Florida Fields to forks to all our friends and neighbors! You won't be disappointed.

I'm so glad that I found Florida Fields to Forks. I feel so much better knowing where our meat is coming from and that it is raised the way God intended. The meat is better for our bodies, and also the environment. My family and I enjoy the taste of our pasture raised meat so much better and now we wont ever go back! The staff has also been a pleasure to work with and are very helpful.

All of the products we have gotten from Florida Fields to Forks has exceeded our expectations. The cost is comparable to what we spent at the grocery store buying "organic" meats. The specialty stores do not have meats raised without hormones etc. and the cost of their products are more than what FFTF charges for far superior meat. We met the people who are raising the animals and are confident that they are allowed to do what their species does in the wild - roaming, grazing, pecking etc. and they are treated humanely throughout their lives. My taste buds and digestion are loving what I am eating and I know my body knows the difference. We have served this meat to others without mentioning anything and have been asked about where we got such great tasting meat. We recently bought some cheese and are ecstatic that we can get raw milk cheese since it is the only healthy form of cheese and it tastes great. We are thankful for such a great organization providing us with superior products from really wonderful people.
