Whitted Bowers Farm

We are a family owned Demeter certified biodynamic and certified organic farm. We begin our season in May with pick-your-own strawberries. We specialize in heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables. We grow melons (charentais, bidwell casaba, amarillo oro, and other muskmelon varieties), watermelons, asparagus, 8 types of heirloom tomatoes, blackberries, blueberries, figs. We recently have put in plum, pear and apple orchards. We sell at the Carrboro Farmers' market on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are also on the Carolina Farm Stewardship tour.
