The Yancho family is pleased to offer locally-grown produce to our Grand Blanc community! After decades of growing fine Christmas trees and landscape trees for our area, we're making time to add naturally-grown vegetables to our growing schedule. Knowing the importance of communication between growers and the public, we were the first MAEAP verified nursery -- years before we started growing produce. It gave us the chance to brag a bit about "doing things right."
In 2011, we expanded from "just" a roadside produce stand, to include a CSA group for our customers. The roadside stand continue to grow, and so does our CSA group. We enjoyed the personal contact we had with our members, and even more - sharing our story through the year via our weekly emails.
Pumpkins in the Pines is our pumpkin patch hayride event that runs through October, and Santa Hayrides round out the year with horse-drawn hayrides to visit Santa and his reindeer. Both events, and our group hayrides, farm tours and field trips, give us even more opporunity to interact with our community, and share the farming experiences that we love.
