Good Stead Farm, located just North of Midland in Hope, Michigan, is in its first year of operation. On a little over 5 acres, I grow nearly 40 different vegetables, annual and perennial herbs and flowers, and raise pastured hens for eggs. Though I am currently seeking Organic Certification, I am always committed to growing your food without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides - even those approved for Organic production. As a farmer, I am a steward of the land, responsible for growing clean, healthy food for my community while doing so in a way that protects and enhances all the soil critters, insects and bees, birds and toads alike.
