"Breaking the lawn!" We use organic and natural farming practices. We use no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. We use minimal tilling practices to maintain a healthy soil full of beneficial micro-organisms, fungi and earthworms. We use compost, aged horse manure, and partially decomposed leaves for nutrients for the soil and plants. We start almost everything from seed. Some fruit, nut plants and maybe a few perennial vegetables and herbs we buy from reputable sources. These seeds are either organic, heirloom and a lot of times open pollinated. No GMOs!! We are happy to discuss any of these practices or anything else with you!
