Seven Pines Farm

We have open shares available for the vegetable CSA. We will be providing vegetables, weekly, picked up at our house in Groton on Thursday afternoons. You will receive a half bushel basket mix of all the crops that are "on" that week. We anticipate vegetables being ready by the middle or end of June, depending on Mother Nature. This season we are growing French radishes; slicing cucumbers; snow & snap peas; French green, & yellow wax beans; cauliflower; broccoli; Magda, Floridor, and DunDoo summer squash; eggplant (white & purple & striped); yellow gold potatoes, sweet grapes; white, & yellow grape tomatoes; black cherry tomatoes; heirloom, Celebrity, & Moskovich slicing tomatoes; purple tomatillos; chocolate, red, green, & Italian peppers; purple carrots, 5 varieties of corn; butternut & buttercup winter squashes; & pumpkins. There will generally be a variety of greens all season - many lettuces both red & green, arugala, Brite Lights chard, spinach; and red, Thai, & Lemon basil; chives, oregano, cilantro, & lemon thyme. The cost is $360 for 12 weeks. The fee is paid upfront to defray our upfront costs. You will receive an email "Pick List" describing what vegetables will be on that week so you can plan menus. I can provide you with recipes or cooking ideas for all our vegetables.
