Rising Harvest Farms

Welcome to Rising Harvest Farms! We are committed to providing you and your family with some of the finest local produce the Greater Cleveland Area has to offer. Our farm is located in the heart of Cleveland's Old Brooklyn Neighborhood. 100% of our produce is grown without the use synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides. Also, we choose to not use any synthetic fertilizers, only composts and other organic materials. Our growing system is sustainable, both in the environmental and economic realms. We recycle resources such as plant matter and captured water, reusing them to help grow our crops. We also use local sources of materials and products whenever available. Rising Harvest Farms began farming in 2010 and was officially established in 2012 to create a sustainable urban farming system that serves the local community by creating new employment and educational opportunities, improving the local availability of healthy food, and supporting green efforts in our city. This is a vision that grew from the intersecting priorities of creating diversity in job skill training opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and increasing access to wholesome food grown locally. We offer Summer/ Winter Farm Shares (CSA), Farm Stand Sales, Wholesale sales to restaurants and grocery stores, Volunteer opportunities, Internship program, and a Community Garden.
