Stone's Throw Farm

Stone's Throw Farm is located on the north end of Wendell, MA on the community land at Swallow Rise. This year we will be cultivating approximately 3 acres of "hand-shake organic" fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Our main goal at Stone's Throw Farm is to grow wholesome, healthy, and chemical free food that is just a stone's throw away from our community, our family, and our friends. After more than a decade of farming at other organic vegetable and livestock farms, we have refined not only our ability to grow food welll, but also our vision of what our farm can and will be. When you choose Stone's Throw Farm for your CSA, you'll be supporting a family farming operation that is ecologically and environmentally sound, community oriented, and committed to sharing with you the bounty of our beautiful New England seasons. Our CSA is a partnership with local families and individuals who become members of the farm by purchasing a share of our harvest. This early bulk payment enables us to plan for the season, purchase seeds, greenhouse supplies, make equipment repairs and more! In return for your pre-season financial support, you recieve your share of our farm's bounty for 20 weeks between June and October. Each week's offering is different as new crops come into season. In order to guarantee that you get the very best from our fields each week, we harvest and pack your share for you which can then be picked up at the farm or one of our farmer's market locations.
