Songhurst Farm is a small family farm in the Village of Marblemount, Washington which is the Entrance to the American Alps. Located in the Cascades, produce grows to its fullest flavor through the long summer days. We grow vegetables that have wonderful taste and texture which may be due to the rich soil, location, and other natural factors. Our variety of fruit trees have began producing wonderful apples, red plums, peaches, pears and cherries. In addition, we have hazelnut and walnut trees. We do not use manure of any kind in or around the vegetables and incorporate organic mulching to enhance the already rich soil. Our first garden yield produced a top crop with a above average taste and pleasing texture for each vegetable. It was satisfying to hear the unsolicited compliments from those we shared our garden produce with.
