Southern Star Farm

Southern Star is an 8 acre farm in Rusk, Texas, family owned since the early 1900's, currently owned and operated by Ken and Sally Wallace, since 2001. We grow seasonal vegetables, fruit and herbs, and raise happy healthy chickens for their wonderful eggs. We follow old time natural farming practices passed down from 4 generations of farmers. In this day and age of growth hormones, synthetic chemicals and genetically modified just about everything, we strive to provide our family, friends, neighbors and community with the choice of quality, unaltered, naturally raised vegetables, fruit, herbs, and farm fresh eggs.

The Farm Stand is open:
Tuesday and Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
Saturday 9-12 noon.

We always post on FB when we open early on our regular days, and/or if we open extra days
