Our Greene Acre

Our Greene Acre is a former homestead nestled under pecan trees that is being brought back to life by Chris and Allison. We both grew up in multi-generational farming families and understand how important it is to be connected to the land. Allison is local to Eastern NC and Chris is from Michigan so we can bring the best of two worlds to our farm. It is our goal to "Eat Local and Healthy" and to help others to do the same. We use only natural fertilizers and no pesticides on our crops. Our chickens are free range- vegetarian fed (except for the occasional grasshopper) and we use no pesticides on our crops or bees . Our crops change with the season and there is always something new being grown on our farm. We use our own fruit to make Jams and Jellies; Fig, Pear and Pepper will all be available this year. Along with salsa and tomato sauces made completely with ingredients grown on our farm. We will also have our first batch of honey available this fall! It is our goal to be part of a positive change towards more sustainable farming and local eating.
