Steamboat Junction Farm is a diversified small-scale vegetable, pork, and garlic operation located on Oyster Bay Road, 5 miles to the northwest of Olympia. The land is situated on 5 acres of beautiful valley-bottom soil in Holiday Valley. From this deep soil, Steamboat Junction's produces products in an ecologically responsible way; this means: NO GMO's, antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. The eggs are pastured, as well as the pork, and the vegetables are grown holistically.
"Steamboat Junction's mission is to form a personal connection between the community and farmer, through growing and marketing high quality vegetables, pork, and garlic. Fostering a positive outlook for the future of small family farms, and communicating the importance of supporting young farmers in inheriting an aging industry". - Mission Statement
Steamboat Junction is owned and operated by Evan Mulvaney, a young educated entrepreneur looking to make a change to the future of farming. He comes from a farming family, having spend his childhood on a vegetable farm in Upstate New York.
