In 2006 my husband Todd and I moved to what had been my grandparents small farm, located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Respecting a family tradition of all-natural growing methods and the ecosystem of the farm, we continue to raise food without the use of chemicals, pesticides or herbicides. Though we use organic and sustainable growing practices, we choose not to pursue organic certification.
Churchview Farm uses sustainable agricultural practices, which require the production of safe, healthy food and respect for all aspects of the farm by incorporating nurturing the soil, treating the animals humanely, and complimenting the natural ecosystem.
