Sunnyvale Farmers Market

The Sunnyvale Farmers Market (SFM) is an affordable fresh food resource for residents of the greater Sunnyvale neighborhood in West Millcreek, UT. Located in the heart of one of Salt Lake's largest food deserts, the Sunnyvale market provides a venue for the New Roots refugee farmers, local food vendors, and community partners to promote healthy, ethnically diverse food access, and nutrition education opportunities for low-income and multicultural residents.

SFM participates in Double Up Food Bucks which offers a discount to customers who shop with their EBT cards (formerly known as food stamps/SNAP). Market staff help exchange SNAP dollars for farmers market tokens and match the amount a customer intends to spend up to $30. For example: when a customer chooses to spend $30 from their EBT card, they will receive an additional $30 in Double Up Food Bucks to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables.
