The Cloverhill Homestead

On our homestead, we believe in regenerative practices. We never use spray or poisons of any kind. We do our best and let nature take its course, and the vast majority of the time, everything works better when our practice lines up with God's plan.

  We grow heritage breed kunekune/julianna cross pigs, which can be seen happily roaming the pasture and forest even on cold days to find some morsel to enjoy.

  We have an ever growing flock of the fanciest ladies and handsome rooster who love to roam all over to find the best bugs and  destroy our garden. 

  I (Mervin) love honeybees, so of course we have some of those as well. They are our pollinators and produce an abundance of delicious honey when the weather is just right. (which it hardly ever is,ha) So far; we've never broken any records with honey harvest, but we keep getting enough to continue trying.
