Sassafras Hill Farm

Sassafras Hill Farm was created by owners, TG Mueller, and Jay Thompson. For years they dreamed of owning a farm in the coastal towns of Ocean County. As they looked for a place to call their own, they found just the right place in Barnegat, NJ. Once their ideal piece of land was purchased work began on the clearing the land and building the footprint for what would eventually be Sassafras Hill Farm. For 15 years work went on, clearing the land and building soil health to create a prime environment for vegetable farming. In the winter of 2015 the owners decided to reach out to a local farmer, Chris Adams, in hopes that he would become the new farm manager at Sassafras Hill Farm. Chris has agreed to start production on Sassafras Hill Farm and the 2016 season will be their first full year of large scale production!
