Walnut Grove Farm

"From Our Farm...To Your Table!" Walnut Grove is a family owned CSA and farming operation in New Philadelphia, Ohio, in the beautiful Crooked Run Valley of the Appalachian foothills. We offer naturally grown beef, pork, and poultry products, farm-fresh eggs, fruits, and vegetables, including many heirloom varieties. We offer these through our CSA as well as local farm markets, particularly the Tuscarawas Valley Family Farm Market in Dover, Ohio. The market is held each Wednesday from June through October, from 3-7 pm at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds. Walnut Grove Farm is owned by Dave and Jennifer Kneuss and their six children, and an interesting note is that Jennifer first met Dave in 1983 when he was selling fresh produce from his truck farming operation at a downtown Dover Farmer's Market! Their six children are all committed to environmentalism as well. They also operate a small greenhouse, Walnut Grove Greenhouse, on their farm. Dave is a builder beginning to use green building processes, and Jennifer is a freelance writer. The couple also operate Clara's Country Cottage Bed and Breakfast (www.clarascountrycottage.com) using primarily re-cycled and vintage items and offering fresh farm produce to their guests, on nearby Kneuss Road. The Kneuss family wishes to share their love of the land, and particularly of the Tuscarawas Valley, with others who appreciate good, healthy food that is produced as a result of an environmentally conscious lifestyle and solid farming techniques. The family believes in being good stewards of the natural resources God has provided us all with.
