I love this market. I did, however, purchase tomatoes from a nice woman once, and when I got home, they had "Product of Canada" stickers on them. I felt duped! I am very careful now to converse with each vendor before purchasing from them.
Like to buy local produce and support local farmers and support organic farming. Be green!
"Healthy Kids" program: Kids will receive stickers, at the market's information tent, when they show what they have bought. The stickers are placed on a board with the goal of collecting enough to receive prizes. The goal is to combat childhood obesity and teach kids to have fun eating healthy foods.
Also raffle tickets are sold at the information booth, and one winner is drawn monthly. The prize is a reusable tote bag filled with vendor donated goodies!!
