Kauai Roots Farm

We're a small farm on the West-Side of Kauai growing non-GMO produce using organic methods for our farm-to-table partners, farmers markets and CSA ohana. We've been at it since 2006 learning and growing with every harvest. Our garden is home to a couple greenhouses. One for a commercial aquaponics system brimming with salanova lettuce; the other protects the tomatoes,basil, sorrel, beets and other companion crops from pesky creatures. The orchard is home to 400+ heart-of-palm, mango, lychee, orange, jabong, banana, sapote, dragon fruit and more. Eggplant, kale, chard, arugula, turnips, okra, kabocha, jicama, turmeric, herbs and more occupy the in-field garden space. We utilize the AP operation to augment our fertilizer needs and produce leafy veggies.. salanovia lettuce primarily. With 1000 plus tilipia as residents in the 2 - 1600 gallon tanks we also enjoy a fish fry on occasion.
